Chocolate Gunge!

On New Year's Eve I baked this for Clarence and I to share and spend some quality time together. This was a fattening but delicious dessert!!

I know it looks dubious but trust me, it's delish!

I reckon you use a smaller and more circular dish to achieve maximum effects.

Here's the recipe! Taken from: chasemecharlie

Ingredients:
- 125g sr flour
- 40g cocoa
- 175g soft dark brown sugar
- 60g butter
- 175ml milk
- 300ml boiling water

Method:

i. In a bowl sift together the flour, half (20g) of the cocoa and 125g of the sugar. Melt the butter, on the hob or in the microwave & stir in the milk.
ii. Add the butter & milk mixture to the dry ingredients in the bowl & blend together making sure there are no lumps, before pouring this into a baking dish. (It’s best to choose quite a deep one for this).
iii. In a separate bowl mix together the other half of the cocoa (20g) & the remaining sugar (50g). Pour over 300ml of boiling water & stir until all dissolved. Pour this sauce mixture ontop of the batter in the baking dish.
iv. Bake in the oven at 180c/350f/gas4 for about 30 minutes.
