Pineapple Tarts for CNY!
Chinese New Year is on the way and one of the BEST snacks of this time of the year is PINEAPPLE TARTS. The golden, flaky, buttery snack that causes you to put on calories like mad.
BUT - Pineapple tarts are also very expensive. Places like Sheng Shiong sell them at 10 per tub/box while more professionally done ones by homemade bakers sell them at about 18-25 per tub/box.
I thought, since I like to bake so much, why not just bake them and save some money this season?
This recipe is quite the ultimate. The lady does a much better explanation at it that I will so here's the link!
I added a bit more flour to her recipe, about 10-20 grams more. A lot of flour would be require for dusting when you are rolling out the dough.
I'm planning to bake them again, in bigger batches this time round, so that I can pass on the CNY love and spirit to friends and family <3
