Capital Decoration

I learned how to make this from a papercraft book I borrowed from the library. It's pretty simple, but time consuming! This decoration is perfect for an empty desk (:

This block capital alphabet is supposed to be made from cardstock. Unfortunately, most of those sold in Singapore are pretty expensive. What i do to make the basic frame is stick 3 pieces of paper together using normal white glue. After, just simply use a penknife and cut along the lines. Do this twice.

The idea is pretty simple.. cut out a long strip from the 'thick' paper that you have created. The width of the strip will determine to thickness of your alphabet blocks! then use masking tape (or paper tape) to stick it all around...

Eventually you should get to this. After sticking everything together, you should have formed a nice looking alphabet block. Okay maybe not looking, but it should stand steady. Then simply dig out newspapers/magazines/postcards/colored paper/graph paper/brochures etc and start pasting them all over!
